What data we collect and why

What you write to us. This website does not store forms. The contact form only builds a message that opens in WhatsApp; whatever you send us by WhatsApp or email (name, company, what you need) is used only to reply and send you a proposal or quote.
Usage statistics. We use Google Analytics to know how many people visit the site, which pages they view, their device type and approximate location, and how many contact us on WhatsApp. This data is aggregated and we do not use it to identify you.
Advertising on Meta. We use the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to measure which ads bring visits and messages, and to show ads to people who have already visited the site. The pixel sends Meta data about your visit, such as the pages you view and whether you contact us on WhatsApp.
Technical data. Our hosting provider (Vercel) logs technical data such as IP addresses so the site works and stays secure.

Cookies

Google Analytics and the Meta pixel use cookies to tell visits apart. You can block them in your browser settings or with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and choose which ads you see in Meta's ad preferences.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data. Only the services needed for the site to work are involved, each with its own policy: Google, Meta, WhatsApp and Vercel.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the data we hold about you, in accordance with Costa Rica’s Law No. 8968 on the Protection of Individuals regarding the Processing of their Personal Data. Write to info@topteksoftware.com and we will reply in writing.

If we change this policy, we will update the date above.
